Product application:
Heavy industrial screens vibrating screen wire mesh is available in
different wire diameters, mesh opening and open area. This is
widely used for various applications such as screening, sizing,
grading, shifting, separating, scalping and washing. This wire mesh
can be also custom designed in case plungers and vibrating rods are
needed to insert for protection against tearing. It is installed
above rubber beads to avoid metal to metal contacts.
Plain woven 65Mn crimped wire mesh is weaved after the wires being
crimped so that it has a strong structure. It is usually used in
the fields of mine, coal factory and construction, breeding,
civilian use etc. Meanwhile, a special usage of the crimp mesh is
as raw material of barbeque mesh.
When ordering product the following technical aspects should be
taken into account :
Thickness of wire
Thick wire will last longer than thin wire, but will give a smaller
open area and will therefore pass less material per unit area.
Open Area
This is the most important factor in obtaining maximum output. The
larger the open area the less screen is wasted and the faster the
speed of screening. This open area factor must balanced against the
wire diameter to give adequate life
Mesh
The mesh refers to the number of openings per inch. The mesh is
counted by starting from the centre of one wire and counting the
number of opening to a point one inch away.

Double-Crimp
Flat-Top
Improves material flow with flatter surface than other weaves. Lock
weave maintains accurate openings. Also called "Smooth-Top". Most
efficient weave for heavy-duty screens when ratio between width and
wire diameter permits its use. As a general rule, opening width
should be at least 5 times the wire diameter. It is extremely
durable because each wire is locked in place to maintain accuracy
of openings for the life of the screen.
Tri-Loc
Long openings will keep sticky or wet material flowing freely.
Weave holds wires securely yet permits slight vibration to keep
openings clear. This specification is often called "Triple Shoot".
This specification is also referred to as "Vibro Type Weave".
Efficient and long wearing in a variety of applications Providing a
level, smooth surface, the Smooth weave employs a type of rigidity
interlocked crimp that insures maintenance of accurate, uniform
openings. When used in the correct application, because of the
level weave, there is considerable reduction of friction from
material passing over the screen and, in many cases, far less wear
from abrasion than in screens made with surface crimps.
